    Disabling the ABS?

Can you disable the ABS ? Searched the forum but didn't find anything.. only ESP.

Read in the manual that ESP turns off traction control but that ABS will stay on. I'd like to know if you can turn it off for lets say the track.. is there a fuse or module you can unplug?

    Re: Disabling the ABS?

there is not really any good reason to disable abs for the track unless you are trying to do some crazy movie stunts

However, i do remember someone talking about it somewhere on the forum and i believe it can be done

I assume, there is a fuse or relay that controls the abs. But, I agree not sure if it would be a smart idea to remove the abs, its like going back to the stone ages.

    Re: Disabling the ABS?

    Thread resurrection,
Just tracked the car last Sunday and did well. ABS kick on approaching turn one only once (with hints here an there for the rest of the day). But that "once" was enough to tell me I want it OFF next time I go to the track.

Anyone know what fuse to pull?

    Many thanks
