Is there more to Toyo tires than the howling?...

The first owner of my car replaced the stock tires with Toyo Proxes T1R from new. Anyone have these and can comment? They howl, but I haven't tracked them to know if that is just a symptom of being cold.

I've got them too, and don't have any howling. Check your alignment and wheel bearings...

Ok, I'll get the alignment checked, although I know that was done having talked with the shop that worked on the original mods. They seem very hard too, hardly worn after 7k miles.
Agreed with W'Runner though, PS2 or something close next time.

Proxes 4 suck, and they will howl. I had a set of those before that made me swear off Toyo tires forever, until a screw up when I ordered my wheels left me with T1R's, which I've actually been VERY impressed by.

I put my buddies summer tires on today just to make sure it was the tires.

Yup TOYO's blow and they were howling at 25mph and got louder on the highway. Need some new rubber.
