How do I make DRL's?

Ok so I like having my b6 in Canada mode because the fog lights are my DRL's.. The only thing is I dont like how along with the fogs being on, my front yellow embers are on too, and my cabin lights... Is there a way to just have the fogs on? Could I buy the piece that is to the right of the headlight switch for the b7 (which has coming home, and DRL) and wire it from there?? (currently I just have the coming home knob)

there is a way to slice and dice your lights to do this, the amber bulb has two filaments, one that it always on and one that is for the turn signal, there is a thread on how to do it somewhere on here, but i cant find it, it was done to a B5 but it will work on ours too.

basically you find out which contact on the bulb is the one that is always on and block that connection from happening, so the bulb only lights up when you signal, you can also do this in the wiring harness for a more permanent fix

This wont stop the dash lights from being on though

if i understand correctly, you trying to get your lefr or right fog to turn on with your turning signal right? if so, i have found the wires that are constant power but its not enough for my HID fogs.

ya thats what i did but i think he wants the fog lights on, but not the amber DRL's or the interior lights
