    I went to the post office and weighed a K03 turbo and the GT3076R. Keep in mind that the GT30 I ordered as the TiAL V Band/Stainless Steel housing which is 1/3 the weigh of the regular housing.

    So in the small corner the tiny K03 weighed in at 10.4 lbs and on the other side of the ring in the big corner for this match up, the huge GT30 weighed in at only 12.0 lbs!

    That is amazing; only 1.6 lbs difference between the two and yet the GT30 seems to me to be at least twice if not close to three times the size of the K03.

    How did your K03 get so dirty. I have 80k and mine is still silver and clean.

    well you do need to factor in the wastegate. there's another few lbs to make up the difference.

    but those Tial housings are sweet for sure. my next turbo will have one!

    It's not mine. I borrowed it from my friend's shop to take the pictures.

    i guess that with only a gain of 2lbs your power to weight ratio will skyrocket
