sup guys, just bought the oz chronos used for 300 with tires it was a steal. They are 18's, but the problem is i got the back on but the front wont clear my brakes. The original owner had them on a a4, but i now just found out that the S brakes are bigger. This is what i have http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/1...w_wheels_1.jpg
so my question is what mm spacers do i need to get them to clear.

i'm going to go out on a limb and say you need at least 5mm spacers, might want to look into longer studs if you go any bigger. ecs is your friend on this one

    Re: oz wheel clearance?

The offset of the stock wheels is 45mm. You're only losing 1mm of clearance on the inside by making the change (according to http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp). So I guess you should be able to go with any spacer really. I think the smallest they make on ECS is 2mm.

But wait for someone to confirm before you make a purchase. I don't have much wheel fitting experience. I'm just trying to do some research for you. Awesome deal on a nice set of wheels.

    Re: oz wheel clearance?

If you only need a very small amount of clearance you could grind your caliper down a bit if you didn't want to spend the money on spacers.
