    17PSI With a Stg 3 RS2 Package?

....I run a full RS2 kit on one of my urS6's that is boosting 27psi...and thats on a stock inter cooler. RS2 Turbo, Header,Injectors,MAF, and tune.... If your "stage 3" is only putting out 17psi, you got screwed out of a lot of money....

FWIW .. I agree with KOS!! My urS6 was in the 25-27 psi range with a stock turbo and MTM chip. 17psi strikes me as very low

.a Stock RS2 runs 27psi (give/take) of boost in pump fuel. The RS2 has the same 20V AAN engine as the S4 and S6, just tuned with a bigger turbo and fuel setup.

...as far as the video goes...it looks like u got your a$$ handed to you. I think you are mistaken about your stage 3 setup....Turbo and Engine Pictures please?Maybe a turbo ID of some sort?

...not to mention the Red urS6 has been a daily driver for the past 8 years on that RS2 setup....with no issues other than normal maintenance (coil packs, plugs, timing belt, the usual)

.....and...my All Stock urS6 (Blue) Boosts 17-18PSI. The engines never been touched other than an intake and 034 exhuast.

I think you got screwed out of a lot of money if you did a RS2 package and are only boosting to stock levels.

listen if u guys call 034 and talk to them about a rs2 u will hear the same thing as im tellin u right now, their tune is set on 20 psi of boost with out a boost controller i have a boost controller i dont run my car more then 18 0r 19 on pump gas guys, i just think if u run that much boost (25-27) on pump u will lean the car out and blow the motor, i havea stock pump on my car and thats one of the reasons that im running 17 psi only, let me know if any of u guys had problems with a waste gate and fueling pls !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok...so why would you drop close to $4-5K on a RS2 package in order to get stock boost #'s and stock power output? Your engine is only going to make ~230hp on 17psi of boost..

and FYI: an RS2 package is an OEM for Audi in their RS2 and runs 27psi out of the box. So...you are telling me that Audi designed their RS2 Avant to run LEAN at 27psi? Or....they said that the RS2 will ONLY run on race fuel properly?

The people that look at and buy these cars, KNOW these cars inside and out. Double check your stats before you post. I am still waiting to see engine pictures as well as other stated modifications.

something is def not right. if you have a rs2 setup you should be around 27 psi. my buddy's rs2 powered UrS6 is around 27 psi. a totally stock UrS4/6 makes 16 psi. if you can give us a list of the performance mods you have it would help us alot. we're here to help you.

Re: 1993 audi s4 for sale

rs2 turbo, 2.5' intercooler piping. big front mount, intake spacer, bigger injectors, i think its a 1 bar waste gate spring (or 1.5) im not exactly sure, 2.5' down pipe and 2.5 the rest of the exhaust with not cats, boost controller, cold air intake, stage 3 clutch.
but to be honest the car moves very good with 17 psi, when i took the car at the track i had some problems with boosting and it was only boosting 12 psi and with 12 psi i ran 13.5 seconds at 1/4 mile , and now im boosting 17 psi and the car feels alot faster but when i boost the car up around 22 psi it feels like its not getting any fuel or it kind of cots of. if u guys think of something that might be wrong with it please let me know but what my thoughts are that i need a stronger fuel pump or that inline pump that sits under the hood!!!!!!!!!!

Re: 1993 audi s4 for sale

1st gear spikes up to 20 and goes down to 16 or 17, 2nd gear spikes up 22 psi and goes down to 17 slowly, 3rd gear spikes 25 or 26 then goes down slowly to 17 or 18 psi. so the car spikes alot but it holds around 18 psi range !!!!!!!!!!!!

its normal for a car to spike and than loose boost as you go through the RPM range. so you ARE boosting up to 26PSI, not 17-18.....this sounds much more legit. As far as your power issue, you need an RS2 MAF. I would also check your diverter valve, because your engine does funny things if it goes bad. The stock one is great, but the diaphram is known to tear. If you change it, either get one made my FORGE or get a stock 710N.

where did you get your other mod's?they should carry everything to support ur upgrade...otherwise you might have to do some ebay research or getting something aftermarket that will work.

you might be able to do something custom ill let you know give me couple days, ill let you know about everything, but a the reason the car pushes 17psi is because of manual boost controller , its better for turbo you are not over working it :), try runing it on N75

Mario, S6Plus is right - UK RS2's run 26psi factory.

    At 16 - 18psi, you're pretty much stock ABY S2.

There is nothing special about the Rs2 MAF! the only difference is there are honeycomb type screens instead of conventional screens.

& I don't like the Blinggy by-pass valves... the Bosch 710N is the best solution!

its safe. the fact that hes running it on pump gas is irrelivant, its all about the tune. stock head gaskets are good to anywhere from 25-27 psi.

this is good to know. what is a good every day psi for a stock one? and what would be the first things to do when upgrading the motor? ive never owned a turboed car and i might be picking a 92 S4 up

    well i hold 18 psi.
the first thing to do as far as upgrading the motor really depends on what power you want to make. i know of people running 350+ awhp on stock internals. its all up to you.

you can make 400+ crank hp on 034's k26/gt2871 turbo. fully spooled by like2700 or 2800 rpm i believe. also im pretty sure the can do chip tunes for that turbo to meet your goals.
thats what i would do but thats just me.

Yes you can run that power on the stock internals. But for how long is the question. You have to remember that those rods are old and designed for the stock motor. If I was going for 350+ awhp which is roughly 425hp at the crank, I would be replacing rods as extra insurance.

khalimadeath, if you are looking to build the car up as a DD, then you should maybe consider using an RS2 setup or maybe 034's GT28RS setup. Just my .02
