    Hey guys i a got a quick question i am looking at upgrading the ecu on my 1999 Audi a4 1.8t. do you guys know what kind of horsepower gain i am looking at and whats a good ecu to go with i was looking at the APR chip. One more thing is it just a simple install remove old ecu and pop in the new one?

    I believe with your year model, the tuning company might be able to "flash" the file on there unless you are buying a used ECU. APR and GIAC are both good ones to get but its really a matter of preference.

    Edit: I just changed the browser on my desktop, and it seems that the links will not direct you to where I wanted it. But if you go to the classified section (Engine/Performance>A4>B5 Platform), there is a GIAC 93 octane P Box ECU being sold for $380 shipped.
