    Re: greatttt

DONT pay attention! lol. It should be fine. Maybe it was just a hard downshift.

Who did the tranny work and did they also upgrade the torque converter?

    Re: greatttt

Kind of a common thing man. These transmissions like to do that hard shifting sometimes. I was freaking out when my car was doing it when I first got it too. I found a thread on AW about how gunk in the throttle body makes the flaps not work properly at lower speeds. The theory was that the flaps aren't working fast enough, so the ecu gets confused and shifts funky. Anywho, the "fix" was to clean out the throttle body. So I took off the intake plumbing and cleaned out the TB as well as I could without removing it. I was really surprised cause it helped a lot after I did it. I still get the occasional hard down shift, but I don't worry about it.

All in all, Its just kind of how these things are sometimes.

Here's the thread I was talking about...
    http://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/519970.phtml

I agree with the getting used to it. Give a few weeks. By Xmas you won't even notice it and be used to how it shifts when you floor it. I love this car in traffic.

I have had it in in both my S4 (gone) and my S6. The first few times, I thought I had been rear ended.

When it happened in my S4, it felt strong enough to make me think "there's no way that came from the tranny."
