    Re: boost problems

the codes are random multiple cylinder misfire, evap leak (small), o2 code(test pipe related), and yes the awe chip was tuned for the n75, however the valve was capped off and unused for the past 2 years because the boost was being controlled by the hks boost controller, and better news, not the diff, i had an inner cv joint let loose and it was transfering noise vibrations into the diff casing which made me assume diff, thanks for any ideas u guys can come up with

    Re: boost problems

Sounds like you might have bad EGTs throwing your car into limp mode.
Vag-Com might not read a bad EGT yet.

    Re: boost problems

well i dont have a vag com, only a code scanner, and its weird, because im only getting limp mode(6-7 lbs) sporadically, but if i lift real quick n mash it again, its spools right up, im startin to get really sick of this car...

    Re: boost problems

my car is getting the limp mode with misfires on 4,5 and 6. i only got the EGT code 3 times and now it is just the misfire codes. but there is a lot of no boost or just boost up then stop and then start right back up then stop again. i am working on getting a boost gauge.

    Re: boost problems

are the misfires only on one bank? Do you have a CEL? You really need to pressure test. I could be simple. But if u have multiple misfires, even when idling I would say its time to use the search button.

    Re: boost problems

I would check to see if all your your injectors are properly in... one of mine was out, and i could only get up to 5 psi and it sounded like i was running on 4-5 cylinders.
