Im aware they are summer performance tires :P I am in the midst of finding a winter set, still no snow here just cold weather. The UHP's drive great in all the conditions ive had them in to SUPER WET AND RAINY to dry..

So supposingly my order from GSG got mixed with another order and I dont have my rotors which I was suppose to have by tues :(
Wheels should be here promptly friday, latest Tuesday from CA....CANT WAIT!

Wheels came today, but only 2, I guess the packages came seperate, tommorrow for the wheels.
The brake situation has been covered and I will have my Rotors wednesday..

Balancing of these 2 wheels commences tonight!

Just got the GSG rotors (they look/feel/sound NICE) and pads on. It felt a little softer braking than stock though. I even bedded them in, does anyone have any suggestions about why the brakes feel softer and not as responsive than the stock setup?

I think the rotors are rebranded by GSG. The pads they told me were HAWK HPS pads but they did not say HAWK on them. Do all HAWK pads have brand stamp on it?

they are both manufactured with the gsg name, the pads are hawk, just with the gsg logo, itleast i was told today on the phone

^^ I don't see how or why GSG could re-brand the pads. I thought that pads come attached to the mounting hardware. Also the pads I received were not stamped with GSG so it seems pointless/confusing to me. The pads I received look exactly like the ones in your picture, I took some pictures since they looked different from what I thought as well. The only markings on it is a little stamp that says "CWD EE" or something like that.

Anyone with some knowledge on HAWK HPS pads care to chime in?

I found a guy right in Jerz. Vineland actually, his names Leon, great guy, amazing job on the fenders, did it right in the driveway, ha. I started off with 18x8 RS4 wheels, only had a 5mm spacer in back, when he was done, I had gained so much room I could actually run spacers front and back with significant size diff. I got the 19x8.5 rials now, and they fit absolutely flush and perfect, Just enough so if i do hit a big pot hole, my rim is not hitting the fender, tire might hit inside fender liner for a sec. Overall Rolling and Pulling your fender is such a great investment, I think I was charged 75$ for all 4 :P

I will say it will prob be hard to find someone RIGHT NOW to do it only becuase its much easier when the weather is warm, and a heatgun is the choirce of the roller, my paint did not crack I would say, but I did find out there was sum filler in my fender from the previous owner, makes me wonder :/

I'll pm u his number, Let me know that Doug with the Blue Audi sent ya..He prob wont want to do it till it gets warmer, safer for paint as well...

My opinion is find a great deal on coils, wait till right after snow passes, throw those puppies on to get them broken in. Its nice to do mods over winter, but if ur running stock suspension now, just rock it till no more snow..

Im not afraid of the snow this yr, by my area, we rarely get much

Did you ever get those pads rotors on? Wondering how your initial bite is when you brake. I think the mechanic might not have bled the brakes when he did the install on mine, although i would assume most mechanics would.

Still wondering if these are really HAWK pads too. It just doesn't seem right.

Im having them installed tommorrow around 5pm. I can let you know by Thursday how they are feeling. My mechanic said it was a good idea to flush the fluid, and luckily it wont cost me anymore..

Brakes are going to be finished tommorrow, then a full detail so I will have plenty of pics up, but some of the process of the car didnt go exactly to plan due to holidays and shipping, and 1 rim being a lil off..

Nothing goes right I feel. ha FINNALLY today I will receive the rest of my brake parts for the install...was missing sum pads I ordered you could say :P but GSG fixed the problem.
Overall. My new wheel should be here wednesday, i got a new wheel monday, but lets just say it didnt match ha...totally different model...i was so pist...
