It is completly random....cold/warm/hot temp

its your transmission going into limp mode. im guessing you have a major power loss via the tranny when it does this? its your tranny seeing a fualt somewhere, could be low oil, bad filter, bad sensor or bad computer.

I had this before and it was the rubber thing that slides back and forth with the shifter, I mean mine was broken so of course this happened. The rubber thing has magnets inside of it and if they get knocked of track it will do this. Or it also could be the switchboard that goes under the shifter. If its the rubber sliding thing its should be about $100 to fix. If its the switchboard your looking at somewhere $200-$300. Have someone look at it. I had the dealer replace my rubber sliding thing and it was all good!

I had that light come on when I first got chipped. Then whenever I go into limp mode, it comes on. Then I got reflashed to 1+ and got that light again. EVery time it happens to me, I just turn the car off and restart and it's normal again. I think it's just a computer adjustment?

don't know about ur car but mine says:

CD1
TR1

CDC= Compact Disc Changer

CDC usually comes up for ipod intg. or an external CD changer, unless he has Navi.

I have the indash 6cd changer but i just got that USB input that connects into my cd changer control so i can play my mp3/mixes on my USB thumb drive/laptop HDD, and thats what it looks like when on...quite possibly the best thing ever made.
