Hey all.......just wanted to introduce myself. A few weeks ago i purchased a 2005 black USP with 31,xxx miles. Coming from a mk3 golf, I have been in the euro scene. I traveled all across the country and waited a long time before I found "the one". This is by far the CLEANEST I have seen. I am in absolute love with it and can not wait to continue modding. It was equipped with a few basic mods before I bought it. 19" RS4 reps, neuspeed springs (with stock shocks which will eventually become coils), neuspeed chip, carbonio intake, magnaflow exhaust system, DV, SS, black front grill.....and I just bought a set of 18" S4 winter wheels and am in the market for a thule rack for my skis, any suggestions. actually factory warranty expired a few days ago. The local dealership was cool enough to give me the 35,000 mile maintenance as well as a new cd player to replace the one that was giving me errors even though I was not at 35k miles. Just got it back today and the warranty is over......even though they tried to sell me on up to 100k miles for $2800!!! Ill take my chances without it

I also looked far and wide for my whip back in 2003 when they were a lot more scarce and much more expensive. I live in Cali and wound up getting the best deal flying to FL.

Did u know there are services that u can pay a licensed mechanic $50 - 100 to "check out" a car b4 u buy. Why did u have to do so much travelling during ur car search

I just made sure that I bought a car that I really loved plus USP's are few and far between. I live in Ohio but looked at cars in Minnesota, Tennessee, Virginia, NY, and ended up getting this one from a guy in South Carolina. This thing is absolutely mint......absolutely worth my wait

always good to find exactly what you want rather than settle for somthing your unsure about.. i had a few guys talk me into traveling 8 hours on a bus to boston to buy a 4.2 a6 rather than settle for a 2.8 a6 that was half hour away.. props to them, and my ole lady of course

Lol I wasn't the only one thinking it! I have a Durango I bought for the winter. As soon as I pulled it in my driveway within 3 minutes I pulled off the flaps...made it look 3000X better lol.

lol the mudflaps.. maybe thats what makes the car look a little funny.. just a little though imo its just about perfect, might get some spacers and roll the rear fenders? i just like the even wide stance rather than the "tucked" up in look, reminds me of an old buick loaded from the front seats to the rear tail lights with stuff and the bumber is like 3 inches off the ground. but thats just my opinion

i like the rolled fenders idea. On my old mk3 I had them done. How do most guys do it on these cars?? is it as easy as a fender roller tool that I used on my golf?? I also like the wide stance look and will eventually have coils and different wider wheels and potentially rolled fenders to perfect the stance.....only time will tell

A few more of the VW per a request. I only have a few pictures of it thanks to a hard-drive that crashed and my dumb ass not backing them up!! It was a vortech supercharged VR6 with just about any mod you could think of. Some of you may not like it, good thing only I drove it. Damn I miss that thing..... one day my new audi will be fast like that VR was.
