Yes it is indeed a 3076R with the TiAL housing with a .63 A/R.

I hope once and for all you guys are going to stop bugging me about joining the BT clan. Now I have actually joined the BAT clan in one move, lol.

So in my decision to drop my special MTM K04, I went from a GT28 to a GT2860RS to this monster, the 3076R. Holly sh!t is this thing big! It as to be 3 times the size of my K04!

You guys are going to be sorry and in serious trouble if you try to race me. It should be interesting to see what the end result will be when it is all done.

PS: I hope to have more news in the coming days on the rest of the engine.

With a turbo that big it is not a matter of if you build the head... it is a matter of when.

Jet, spend the money and build the head. One, it's already off, two, without the 8500 rev. limit, you'll fall out of the powerband when shifting, three, you only looking at about $1200 bucks for spring/retainers, exh. valves and cams. If you want to stay with GT3 cars, you'll need the revs. If you don't do it you're only going to be short changing your self and the turbo. You don't want to disappoint the turbo do you?

Hey I have a head for sale Awm ported and intake is matched for big port, supertech valves and 034 valve springs, I didn't have time to advertise it, it was built by tk race heads here in Montreal

I hope you are building the base at least unless you wanna spit conn rods at R8s

YES! Good decision over the 28RS! We have done a few TT's with the Pagparts v-band setups and they have noticeably different spool characteristics compared to my setup, thats with a log mani as well, not a tubular setup like you're going to have. Im sure you will want to do more than you had anticipated to maximize that setup, but it will be for the better in the long run!

Actually the 3076, 3776, 4082, 4088, 4088r, 4094, 4094r, 4202r, 4508r, 4708, 4708r, 4718, 4718r, 5553 and 5553r all come with a ported shroud.


Schwitzer was the first to come out with that version of a ported shroud, which is where Garret got it from.

Head work would be nice but it will not happen this time around. Too much money to invest there and my budget is already blown. I know the set up won't be optimized but that's the breaks.

Don't forget there is a lot of work going on on areas of the car.
