B5 S4 vs B6 S4 what would you pick?

On a more serious note...

It depends on what you want, they are totally two different power plants. Each engine has its Pros and Cons.

I would get something with a warranty.

I would pick the B6 because I think it looks nicer however theres no arguing with the power in a Stage 3 b5 =)

I'd say B6 - but that's because I own one, and love it. Don't get me wrong, the mod potential in the B5 is amazing, but things are looking up for us B6'ers.

between those two definitely b6, the b5 is looking extremely dated. if all you care about is modding then get an STI or Evo

B6 - Interior is hands down better. Anyone who tries to tell you different is misinformed or lying.

How much did you set aside for repairs on the turbos? The B5 body is a little dated... of course I'm biased though.

B5 S4 love the lines of it, and its the perfect size..the B6 for me is to big, but im short

Neither.

B5's have inevitable turbo failure, B6's are a bitch to work on - though very fun to drive in a 6sp.

Depends on how much you need to drive it. If it's purely a fun car, I'd go B5. If you want something you're going to drive every day, I'd go B6.

For the record, I'm assuming you do up the B5. If you are leaving them stock, B6 by a landslide.

I went B5 to B6...I don't miss the B5 and never have.
