Got my old wheels back. Teaser shots for the Spring

The FedEx guy just dropped these off

....they're basically my old staggered SSR GT3's, but these are in the bright satin finish, and they are just stunning!
The specs are:
front
18" x 8" et 31
rear
18" x9" et 37

when I had a set of these last year, the rear did rub, so I'll be using spacers to push it a bit farther from the control arm. The fronts rubbed too, but I was running 235/40 tires. So I plan on running 225's up front this time around....Not sure what I want on the rears yet..

The are in great shape. No dents, only very minor curbage on the lips, but I'm gonna be sanding and repolishing all of them as soon as I get the time.

Needless to say, can't WAIT for the spring

That's gonna look really nice. I don't think they should be bronze... that's a little wild for the uber clean & almost conservative look of his car. (conservative in a sexy way)

Thanks for the compliments.....I actually thought of getting them powdercoated bronze until I saw them in person today. It looks really really sweet in person. Its almost a gunmetal color, but its got a very nice shine to it. It'll look sweet when I get my new look in the spring (OEM RS4 bumper and S4 sides)

Didn't get 9's in the front because I wanted staggered lips. I just love how it looks on avants

heres a terrible old pic from 2 years ago. These were just silver, but also staggered.

edit: What's your suspension set up? looks really flush!

That pic is really old....that was back when I was rockin Koni adjustables and H&R sports (the rear sagged a lot cuz they weren't avant-specific). But now I'm running KW V3's
