OK so I want to get 15mm spacers in the back and 12.5mm up front. I'm not worried too about about the rubbing or anything because I'm on stock suspension and wheels(avus).
My question is, I remember posts awhile ago saying that most of the spacers dont fit the hub completely and they are a bit small..... I want to get the full size ones that will fill the whole gap. Can someone steer me to a reputable site or company that sells these with all the hardware(longer bolts etc..) needed to intall em'. Thanks in advance!

    Re: Spacers

I want the ones that fit the whole hub and that uses NEW longer bolts. I think the stock wheels use conical lugs? or is it ball? I'm planning on doing 12.5 up front, 15 in the rear.
I'm looking on this page in ECS tuning:

    Re: Spacers

I have the same setup as you 2005 S4 with AVUS wheels. I am running 245/40/18 tires and I am using 17.5 mm rear spacers and 10mm fronts and the tires are perfectly flush with no rubbing. You should be fine with the setup you are wanting. I used ECS and they are a perfect fit and come with the correct bolts for your app. Hope this helps

    Re: Spacers

stock wheels are ball seat. I'd personally use H&R rather than ECS, but maybe the ECS spacers are ok.

    Re: Spacers

Order some custom ones. They can pretty much make anything you want so that way you won't have to settle to what someone else has in stock currently.
Motorsport Technology is where I get mine and I am on second set right now. They made me a set for stock wheels, both hub and wheels centric and when I got Merc wheels they made me another set that was Audi hub centric and Merc wheel centric. Not sure about the prices since I got them through local group buy. It was WAY cheaper than buying them any where else for sure.

Well i want the ones that Use one set of longer bolts as opposed to using the stock bolts that bolt the wheel to the spacer, and then another set to bolt the spacer to the hub. All H&R spacers ive seen use the latter technique. OSOQUIK, does your front sit perfectly flush? I was leaning twoards 12.5mm up front, and 15 in the rear, but you say the 10 and 17.5 respectivly fits better? Also could you hook me up with a few pics of your 245 tire setup on the avus's, I'm curius to see what the wider tread looks like. Thanks alot guys.

BTW what's the Center Bore size for our stock Avus wheels?

You are thinking about adapters. Spacers just sit in between the wheel and a hub and they are bolted down with same bolts. Ball vs. Cone has nothing to do with spacers. That's wheel related.

OK 40Valve, I'm gonna go through Motorsport Tech, they look really nice. My only question now is: 12 up front, and 17 in ther rear? Will that put the wheels flush with the fenders? or am I going to big or small? Thanks for that link BTW. I know what ball and conical are, I was just trying to remember which config factory wheels need. I believe its Ball.....

    Re: Spacers

15mm rear and 10mm front should be pretty flush but go by your measurements. 2mm difference won't be that noticeable.

    Re: Spacers

Just placed the order, hubcentric, wheel centric spacers, 12mm up front, 18mm in the rear. Cost me $205.00 even with the ball lugs included. Great deal, custom machined, and they still came out to less than what the ECS spacers would have cost.

    Re: Spacers

sounds like a great deal, I didn't know about this custom route. I'll definitely check them out if I need any in the future.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Yes, with the 245 tire, the 10mm sits flush in the front. I will get some pics out tomorrow if I can.
