OK, so I placed an order on the 18th of November for Lamin-x headlights + taillights for my A4. I received an email that my order "Completed Successfully" on the same day. Then on Nov the 20th, I sent them an email to ask if the order was shipped, no reply yet. I checked online, the status is "Pending shipping". So I called them today, no one answered. I left a message with my phone number and order number. No one called back. No one sent back a reply to my email either. Today is the 24th, and the status is still "Pending shipping". Why does it take almost a week to ship something or answer a customer's email??

Is it me or this "pending shipping" is taking forever??? They are an authorized seller from AZ, so I thought to buy from them and support the sellers of this community. grrrrr

I also sent emails to another online seller who is part of AZ, and I never got an email back from them and its been like a week. I dont understand how these people expect business with such poor customer service!

This is a holiday week. May be difficult to get a hold of people this week. I know it was true for other online shops.

Mike, if thats the case, then I dont mind waiting at all, specially that what I bought is purely aesthetic. But usually most companies have someone to look after things, they should not close everything and suddenly disappear, dont u think?

According to wikipedia, "Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States"

I placed my order last week, unless they take the whole week before thanksgiving off. If thats the case maybe a slight little note like "we will be cosed on holidays from X day to Y date" left on the phone, email or website would help their customers a bit...

they were very quick to get my K04 to me when i had purchased it way back. after it died they took care of sending it back to the MFG for warranty and refunded my full purchase price since the K04s were not available at the time. the warranty did take quite a few months but this was completely out for their hands and don't blame them in anyway for the long turnaround time.

They will get back to you, give them a little time, like others mentioned, it's a holiday week.

Yeah same time 2 years ago, and I won't name names, but certain companies gave me the same runaround. There was nobody to be found. When was it okay to blow people off a few days before a holiday? On the day of, Fine, but a few days before? How about a few days after? how about a week before? maybe 2 weeks after too, because everybody needs time to go back to the gym and lose all the turkey and gravy. Let's not mention the hangovers huh?

I mean sorry to say but, I was replying to business emails on thanksgiving morning, and evening on my blackberry. This happens every single year. Christmas, News years, you name it.
Maybe I"m just old school, or maybe I"m just old.

Hang tight man.
If you purchase something, make sure you do it in person or over the phone when it comes to the holidays.

ive worked with SPP from a consumer level and a business to business level and they have been nothing but good. they ship on time, it comes in before it supposed to and great customer service. do keep in mind the time difference.. and yes it is sometimes a pain calling them, but do realise that pending shipping is sometimes generated by itself and does not mean it has not shipped. for all you know it coulve shipped as a lot of companies get the order and shipped and dont change the order.

honestly there has not been 1 complaint about SPP. my suggestion PM adam from SPP on here see if he can help you out or just PM hubert on here as well. they are both active with SPP and im sure you will not be dissapointed. i can vouch for Eric, and i can tell you i would not worry.

Everybody's pissin and moanin (for good reason). My guys just sat at home or in the office while other vendors and suppliers went to Sema. Then when those vendors and suppliers came back, everybody just asked them how it went.

I ordered lamin-x from them about six months ago and i had the same problem but it only ended up taking a week and a half. I contacted them because it kept saying my sale was pending but they were pretty helpful and it ended up comming a day after it was suposed to. Ive ordered a couple things from them and they do take a little bit but it always comes and im happy.

i have dealt with eric in the past and received my HID and fog kit on time... it is funny they have not contacted you at all though. i am in CS and i try to make every possible effort to contact my clients in a timely manner like a4moda stated. they are a standup company in my opinion.

I guess I will wait and see, I just hope it wont take them like 3 weeks to ship me a little item like this.. thanksgiving is a one-day thing, but I still dont think businesses like this should be "dead" for 2 weeks, and hopefully not the third week. Only super lazy people do this.

yea the same thing happened to me when i ordered mine...i think they go through lamin-x to get a set then they ship them to spp then they go to you...mine took about a week and a half from the date of order

We take our online orders and when confirmed in stock, we dropship immediately. Sometimes it takes a few extra days from Lamin-x. Unfortunately, when delays like this happen, its just out of our hands. Due to some of the shipping delays we've gone through, we are thinking something else. As you can read from other customer Lamin-x orders this is not abnormal. We're sorry for the Lamin-x dropship delays!

Thanks Hubert and Adam for the replies. Well, my order # was 5055, and like I said, I am in no rush for them, just as long as I know whats going on, coz I had no clue what was happening before I read your replies.

I have dealt with Eric and SPP since day one and met Eric when I flew down to CA. I recently ordered lamin-x fogs since mine was worn out. Hubert took the order and it came in like 1.5 week. There is a short downtime delay with Lamin-x dropship so is not like they are not on top of things. I have always gotten parts from them in a very quick manner.
