Felt like taping some of the fun I encounter everyday. Car is just a PJ K04 setup, RS4 Intake Setup, Bosch GG Injectors!

Also in the video, changed up my boost gauge setup, went from AWE to Podi, I really like the change, the placement is so much better I think.

haha, my latest FATS were 3.43. I find it impressive and you have to take into account that I ALWAYS do logging on the exact same stretch of road, then I also always have my girlfriend on the computer logging it, plus my car has not a single thing taken out, and a 50 lb sub box in the trunk. And, 3.43 was in 60*. I will do an ALMIGHTY fats run one of these 20* days, lol.

no problem, that is really the point of the post I want others to see the power delivery. One of the advantages of VASTs tune is the use of the N75, unlike other stage 3 tunes running MBCs to control boost, it is something Mike works hard on to provide a really smooth power band for the car.

If you still have the spare also you should take that out along with the sub-box an then do some FATS....Wish i would have gotten a ride when i was up that way.

I am really NOT a fan of MBC's myself. Too many bad experiences, very often no matter how much or little you spend. They always end up creeping/spiking to dangerous levels or are just generally inconsistent with weather etc.

But with that said, i've never used one on our cars, just making an educated guess.

haha yeah, i just don't care all that much, i like to measure my car the way i drive it, that's why I don't understand when people are trying to score the lowest FATS times evarrr by removing everything, haha.

I'd really love to learn how to log like you guys. The moment one of you guys take the time to teach me, I will seriously buy a new Dell Mini just to "pimp" out the interior more and load it with whatever software you guys use to do all these fucking cool loggings and stuff.

That's actually a great idea. I would love to see a data logging sticky or something. I'm finally going stage 3 and I would like to know this stuff.

I would be willing to make a sticky, but a lot of good logging comes from ECUx... APR still sells it without support on the product, so I would recommend it. It's quite easy to use and logs more at once than VAG com could on crack! But then VAG is great for codes, lol. You really need both.

. If money is short, you can ebay cable it up for VAG, and then get ECUx.

I know JHM uses a MBC. But, AWE/APR/ASP I know don't. They might be MBC friendly, but are all tuned for the N75.

The advantages of the N75 are
-Smooth power delivery, since it is being regulated electronically rather than just a MBC if ran in Standalone creates a much choppier ride during part throttle and it makes the accelerator very sensitive, since again you are controlling the turbos now with a manual valve rather than the ECU having any say. And it also really makes the car seem stock unless you step on it all the way.

-Safer because a N75, or a MBC in parallel, which is really just used to clip spikes (you shouldn't have bad spikes if you tune is good

) Another safe advantage is that since it is electronic, it uses takes into consideration the ambient temp when calling for boost. So in the warmer weather, with less dense air it will increase the boost a hair or run the straight requested boost by the program. In the colder weather however, the N75 can adjust since cooler air is more dense it will reduce the boost accordingly.
