    Another boost question

    Hi !

I'm stage 3 minus and since a while, i'm only boosting to 16lbs, constant with Giac-X running on 91.
I have no boost leak (done a pressure test), no tbb problem, it's pretty cold outside so no i/c porblem, no dv problem, no check engine and my boost gauge isn't messed up.

I was running 18lbs constantly when i've done my stage 3 upgrade ...
    Any ideas ?
    Thanks !

    Re: Another boost question

do you have a MBC in standalone?? Reason I ask is because if you DO, then my answer wont do you any good, butttt if you DO NOT have a MBC in standalone, and you are still using stock N75 Valve to control the boost or a MBC in parallel, then the reason your boost is lowered is because the N75 detects the colder air which is more dense than warm air, so it lowers the PSI needed to create the same outcome. So it is completley normal for the boost to drop a bit in the cold weather, it SHOULD happen unless of course you have a MBC in standalone, which is one of the downsides to running it that way.

    I don't have a MBC in standalone ...
So, thank you for you quick answer ...
So you think 2 lbs is not enough to be a problem ?

We kinda feel paranoiac with our B5 sometimes ...
