So I've been running the Bosch FR5DTC's on my car since I installed the 034 IIC ecu and its been running great other than that they fowl with carbon deposits fairly quickly (too cold of a plug).

I tried out the F6DTC's since there hotter but they misfire VERY badly around +4500rpms. I've came to the conclusion that it has to be the resistor thing but I can't find any other hotter Bosch copper 3 prongs with the resistor. I'm going to stop by napa today to pick up some NGK BKR7E plugs to see how they do.

Does anyone know where the resistor is inline with the stock ignition system. I'm assuming its not in the coils since I'm still running the stock AEB coils.

Feel free to post your set-up and what kind of plugs your running.

Mine:
1998 AEB
034 IIC running stock coils (coil dwell set to 3.10ms)
HTA3076r
Precision 600hp intercooler

Bosch FR5DTC=good
Bosch F6DTC= really really bad
