    Question Headlights Oxidation Questions

Well, I purchase Pittman's One Step Acrylic De-Oxidizer and it works just as advertised. However, I still notice some oxidation which seems to be coming from the inside of the headlights. Is that possible? If so, is there anyway I can remove just the plastic to clean it up? I heard that the unit is all one piece so it can't be snapped off.

    Thanks in advance...

    Re: Headlights Oxidation Questions

youd have to heat the headlight wiht a heat gun around the seam of it. and then peal it apart... its actually a pretty decent size job and takes a while.

look up DIY for "joey mod" and that will give you an idea of what to do.

u can split the housings using a heat gun and some ice picks but i wouldn't as they're vac sealed they will never seal the same again.

And as for the oxidation stuff, just live with it as it is plastic and just like any other plastic it gets weathered over time.
