im trying to get to about 300 hp

i have a stock 2008 B7 a4 its white with tan interior. all ive done so far was put a system in my trunk with some red LED's. I'm throwing 19" asanti af128's on it. but besides cosmetics im trying to push somewhere close to 275-300 horses. im already goin with the revo chip and im thinking about maybe stage 2. any other ideas? Are you AWD or FWD?
And go with full turbo back exhaust, stage 2, FMIC, Intake and some other stuff and you'll be up by around ~275, mabey more.

haha good luck... you might get to like 250 under six... but if you wanna do what you're saying then you need a big turbo upgrade, unless you're saying you want 275 at the crank and not the wheels??

you won't hit 300 crank hp unless you upgrade your turbo. the most the stock turbo will push, even with every supporting mod, is going to be somewhere between 250-275.

asanti af128's are some pretty baller rims. you will get mixed opinions on those in here, especially if you get them in chrome.

You aren't going to get those numbers without upgrading your turbo. That alone will cost you around 5 grand plus all supporting mods. The most that it seems like guys are running with just bolt-ons is 245-255whp. Bolt-ons being, exhaust, intake, front mount intercooler, fuel pump, ECU software etc...

LaBree HFC: $300
REVO stage 2: $550
AWE FMIC: $1200
prolly a fuel pump too, then you can go REVO stage 2+ which sounds like it's a big difference
and then many more mods

The the VMR Testpipe for $70 and get an exhaust shop to make you a custom exhaust
~$400-$500(prob cheaper than any kit and you chose where you want resonators and etc)
You need the exhaust and intake to get the stage 2
~$500 for Revo stage 2
About $800-$900 for the intercooler
And you be set.

He's not going to get flamed for that. He's going to get flamed for having 19" Asanti's and wanting 300hp for under $6 grand. Its a great ambition and I dont have a problem with it, but its unrealistic and now it looks like this thread is turning into a battle of JDM vs. Euro

My advice is simple, Please dont put a cost on performance parts, becuase we all know 6k flows pretty fast with our cars and mods, once installs, tax's, shippin, is paid for.. Just like others posted, these are only a few mods to get you up there and start holding more power
Revo Stage 2 500-600$
Forge DV 220$
Intake 200 roughly
fmic 800-1200
fuel pump 450-1200 depending on what u do, upgrade kit or full apr package
exhuast 1000 roughly if u go custom w/ testpipe

remember you still need to brake well, have good tires and wheels for speed. suspension

under 6 grand totally an awesome goal, but highly doubt it...but if u do...MORE POWER TO YA! I got a alot of good deals on parts, just look around, used, new, group buys

I say you do the most you can with your money..hopefully you'll love going that fast in your audi and you'll wanna go faster and put more bread into it..who knows..

Point is..do all the necessary upgrades to get to the highest chip stage and figure it out from there..

i think thats to the crank...

get a chip, fuel pump, fmic, downpipe w/custom exhaust and coilovers and sway bar, brakes and tires (if you haven't got tires yet?) that should give you a good amount of power at around 6g's, prolly not 300 but you need a BT for that.

300 Hp or really close to 300 Hp crank can be done with a K03 and basically a good set of boltons. No spray btw.

The ko4 is great for the 2.0T FSI. You should check out one with fueling upgrades if you get the chance.
