Just got back...

From a trip to Missouri. My best friend is now officially an MP in the U.S. Army! I drove up Thursday morning at around 9 AM and got there around 6 PM. Watched my friend graduate on Friday and we drove back the same day. Not a bad drive, the Audi did good on gas and I kept a constant speed around 75-ish.
1115 Miles total not near as bad as my last trip to Florida. Now I am left with 132,XXX Miles but its all good.

I filled the car up with Royal Purple 0w40 and seafoamed it before I left. It ran fine the whole trip now it is acting funny as soon as I get back. The car seems to shake while under medium acceleration. WOT the car just goes I hardly feel the vibration. Does anyone have a clue as to what this can be? Also the car is squeaky as hell on the inside, I am thinking these two problems may be related to worn out stock shocks?? I don't know, it just seems like it is getting worse over time. I think I am going to take the car in for a checkup at my local service center to check everything out.

All in all, I still love my A4 she gets me to point A to point B with minimal problems. Right now I am trying to return the car close to stock but with minimal exterior mods. I am going to throw the CF Hood on the S4 and get a stock one for this car. Anyone have a silver facelift hood up for sale?? I am also looking for stock A4 bumper grills that don't have the fog slots. Hit me up!

UPDATE.

Yesterday I was driving through Sachse and noticed Kroger had E85 for $1.39. I looked down and I had 3/4 tank so I figured what the hell, I might as well throw some in there. Filled her up and went on the way. There had to be a good octane boost from this stuff. The car ran better, a little zipier aswell. I don't know, I figured it wouldn't hurt to just try a little out. I mean hell for $1.39 its not that bad!!



The Bad News...

I was driving around town yesterday and encountered a dip sign. So I took the dip slowly and proceeded down the street. About 500ft from the last dip there was a massive one with no dip sign. Long story short I hit it at about 25mph and punctured my oil pan. I guess I am part of the club now haha.

Its about the size of a quarter.
