Does it really matter? The fact is that I run a 1.8t block not some VW transverse engine swap, plus I am still running my ATW block with 8 years of drag racing on it.


BTW when people ask I tell them it is a 1.8t built to 2032cc.

Like greg said, right around 32psi. I tried running more boost but no matter how much I turned up my EBC the boost never went above 33psi. So I set the EBC back to my normal setting for 32psi and ran the 10.7 and then 10.5 on the next 2 runs. So at this point I think its either the .82 a/r hot side that is either maxed out or the turbo just cant move any more air because when I ran 33psi the boost would start to taper in the higher rpms. I might be looking to upgrade to a 1.06 a/r and maybe even upgrading the 35r to a HTA3586r.


My best time before this was 10.693 and was ran at Sac which is a much quicker track then Fontana, was also done back when I had my stock doors so the car was slightly heavier back then.

I have accidentally seen 35 psi on my .63 a/r standard 35r.

Last time I checked the A4 never came with a 2 liter tall deck block and I would have thought most people would have figured out I wasn't talking 1.8t vs 1.8t.

Thanks. Yeah and the funny thing is that I was so far ahead that I could have lifted and hit the brakes to still win, my win was by more then 3 seconds since the supra(mike) was having issues with his carbon/carbon 7 plate clutch. That happen to be the same supra that I lost to at BOTI.

Even before that run i was more then happy with the 10.7 run since thats the first time I have ran in the 10's at Fonatana.


Nice thing is that we were lined up in the lane right next to the GTR challenge class, there were a good amount of skylines there ranging from stock to very modified.
