Rip A6 11/23/08

My A6 died today, It started making a very loud clanking noise on the freeway, then a very high pitched supercharger like sound. I was in the fast lane and was trying to get over ASAP but it took me a minute or so to be able to then I got off the freeway and a huge black cloud shout out from my grill, and then I knew she was done. The engine just gave out, the previous owner didnt care for the car what so ever and it was obvious on the cars first diagnostics check up. Oh well, I suppose I'll just be parting her out.

CC'd xenon head lights, black B6 S4 rims, etc.. are all available along with just about everything else on the car.

I might be selling the car to a junk yeard so we'll see how that goes..

Dont give up so easy,if the rest of the car is nice shape it would be worth putting a good used engine in it., Ive seen them on here pretty cheap?

sorry Cerfus. You sure you can't rescue it? You may find car with good engine but bad case of t-bone or similar misfortune.

I've already put in about 10 grand into this car, I'm not putting in a new engine unless it was a full 2.7t swap which will cost too much money and time. And it was a 2.8, and there is no rescuing to speak of...the tranny is done as well... I'm looking into either another 7 series,A8l, LS430, or another E46 M3.

Full suede wrapped panels (like the wood, but good looking) 100$
Full tan interior seats/doors/etc. 400$
OEM B6 S4 Rims/tires (front have worn tread, rear are fine, all rims curb rashed f/ prev. owner) 500$ (3 tires alone cost me 500$)
Cat Back REMUS exhaust dual w/ chrome tips used for about 20k miles 150$ (payed well over that)


thats all I can really think of thats "special" But if you need any parts guys give me a holler, I have to get pictures which I will do tomorrow morning, and as far as pricing goes just shoot me something reasonable and I'll add whatever shipping is and then its yours!

The exhaust fits great, sounds mean, and just over all looks great, and when they get installed all they have to do is cut the bumper plastic a bit and then they fit just like oem.

you'll still need a new exhaust =) for the added power, that Remus is too narrow
