Ok so i was outside today and noticed how much of a difference the eibachs are compared to stock ride height, so my sister was home from school this weekend for the holidays and both cars were outside so i took a few pics for a "Reference" i guess for all the guys thinking about going eibach or just lowering and for the new faces im starting to see around on the forum ( just so they can get an idea) of how much and improvement it really is.
keep in the mind the driveway slants to the right where my sister's car is sitting, so her car is even higher looking than it is in the pics compared side by side to mine.
Left car (2004 A6 2.7T S-Line) Right car (2001 A6 2.7T)
In pic 1 you can see how the car sits much more aggressive.with wider wheels and much better offset. 18x8 with 35ET in the pics (my winter wheels)
Again in pic 2 the car sits much more level and aggressive, with MUCH less wheel gap.
In pic 3 it really shows the advantage of wider wheels and such....also the wheel gap.
Again in pic 4 same as the rear, much lower
And for the last pic, the reason i show this (see the red line where the two mirros meet, notice just how much lower it is than stock) big improvement!
again this is just to show a comparison between Eibachs and Stock to show anybody that is thinking about ordering and not sure as to how much lower it is, keep in mind the H&R springs are a bit lower than my car with Eibachs, but i think as a daily driven car, its a perfect height, also with the Eibachs and FSD's the car still rides quite nice.
The spring/shock combo used. http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...4-1&perfCode=S
i hope this shows some insight or helps anyone that is on the fence about ordering, also i had nothing to do today! RAWRAWRWRAWAR
