bump. Ijust got the same DTC when I turned the headlights on.

My drivers side bulb has been blicking on and off for about a month now, and tonight the bulb flickers ever so dimly for about 2 second and then just stays off. When that happened, the ABS light and traction control light came on as well as a flashing "brake" light.

    What is going on?

I also, tried to access the ABS brakes module via vagcom and it says there is no response from controller. Its like vagcom cant connect to the ABS module.

    Any ideas?

Re: Keep getting these DTCs when I turn the headlights on. Please help?

What type of headlight setup do you have? I have an aftermarket HID kit, and what happened to me was combination of bad bulbs and a bad ballast. The bulb was all twisted and such... but the ballast was causing a HUGE voltage spike.

With the bulb out and the connector in sight, i turned the light switch on and saw sparks shoot out of it. The voltage spike was throwing off the ABS and such... which is BAD! I had a spare ballast and I threw that in... no huge spark.... I also put in a spare bulb... put it all back together... and from then on, I have had no problems with this again.

The cause: cheap/bad aftermarket HID parts.
The solution: replace the bad parts with new.
