    you could just need to flush you coolant...or it could be a number of things such as T-stat,air bubble in your system, heater core etc...Just hope it is not the heatercore.

    there is really no sure way to tell..When is the last time you changed your coolant? Should be pink assuming you used g12 coolant. How is your water tem gauge in your car? does it stay dead center?

    the coolant is pink in color the temp gauge sits below the middle line and stays there.... my car never overheats..... i have a bad feeling its the heater core..... what does one cost and how hard is it to install?????

    Not sure about the cost possibly around three or four hundred. The labor is going to be the expensive thing bc the heater core sits in your dashboard. The whole thing has to come out.

    WTF!!!!!!!!!! Can you get to the heater core by removing the blower motor and its box?? I just replaced the blower motor and i remember seeing it under the box where the motor sits.

    I'm not exactly sure where it sits in your car. I kno on b5 s4's it is located inside the dash.

    Pretty sure it's inside the dash... dealership could tell you...
