Horrible Problems after all new coilpacks and spark plugs!!

so b4 i changed the coil packs and everything my car would jerk when letting off gas and when i turned it on for the first time in the day it would make an un godly noise. Im not really sure on how to explain the sound it was like a LOUD grinding noise. So i read up on audizine and i read ppl having symptons along those lines and it was coil packs and spark plugs. So i change all of them and the spark plugs were black and the coils i cnt really tell. But they werent replaced in god nos how long those could have been the original after 75000 miles.

So one of the blots were stripped on the first cylinder coil pack and i couldnt replace it at that moment. I put in the other 3 nd i started the car, it started right up and made a little less of that grinding noise. Now my car has a really mean shake to it. So i get to replacing the last one finally and i go to turn it on and it dosen't even turn over. So me and my buddy jump my car and i have to keep the key cranked for it to finally turn over after like 30 seconds. Now the shanking is real violent and when i took it for a spin it went from 0-60 in like a minute.

So my question is what can be wrong now im just not sure i dnt have a vag-com so i cant run codes. I just wanna no what it could be and check it out thank you for ny one who helps me!

sounds like a hard misfire. is the mil flashing? are all the coils firmly seated on the plugs, and the connectors clicked in? did you drop any of the spark plugs (this would close the gap). possibly a bad coil you got. check all your spark plugs again. and start by switching back 1 at a time, each coil pack until the shaking is gone. the one that you take out and it removes the shaking is the bad one. hope this helps and good luck.

so i took all the new cp out and replaced them with the old ones. What do u no the sputtering stops that loud noise stopped. The pickup is back, but the cel is still on nd i dnt understand how old cp will run better then brandnew ones. someone please give me some insight.

i guess but now the car runs ok but the enigne lights on. i m just severly confused.

Engine light should go out soon if all is well

check engine light will stay on until the fault is cleared. either by a scanner (free at autozone ftw) or after enough drive cycles. most likely a defective replacement coil. get your money back.

Not really. I've just been through 2 defective coil packs. And these were intermittent defective, making it particularly annoying to believe it actually was the coil. The quality of these older VW auto parts is awful!

o get my money back cause now my car is runnin good but there is still that LOAD grinding noise when i first start the car i just dnt no wat it can be ny input?

i heard that the primary or secondary air pump going bad will cause a really loud jet engine like noise for a minute or two when you start the car. might want to search on that.
