so far I got:

CPT...im not sure what their hourly rate is ? ive been told its kinda high..

Renn-Art...im not sure if their still open ?

Dubwerkz in Libertyville...never been their before?

i have friends in Wilmette who own a shop in Wilmette, they do awesome job

Do you guys know of any brake shops that are willing to re-surface (1) BRAND NEW frickin slotted rotor?
Or as an alternative, anyone with a lathe? I'll cut this piece of shit rotor myself if I have to...

One of msy BRAND NEW fricking rotor makes it sound like I'm driving next to a semi that's perpetually hitting his engine brake.

Not to threadjack, but I am located in your area too, and need to find a good Audi service shop. My timing belt job is in the near future, does anyone know of an all around good shop with good price for a simple tbelt job on AEB 1.8T? If not I'll just do the job myself.

too cold in my garage, no lathe. If it was warmer I would have done all the parts replacing myself @ home.
The next on my mod list is actually for the garage...a gas heater!
