Seat issues please help!!!!

ok so i tend to let my gf drive my car, and she always slides the seat up, she took it for a spin today and when she brought it back i couldnt move my seat back all the way to my position, it feels as if something is hitting the rail and stopping it from sliding, but ive checked the rails and they seem fine and nothing seems to be blocking them, this is really frustrating so please help me asap, TIA

double check. could be a coin stuck in the railing.

I figured it was by design but my passenger seat doesn't go back as far as the driver's seat. I swore it went back just as far at one time, too. I didn't see a coin in the rail at all.

i thought they went the same distance back to.. could be wrong but i thought they did to, will check later to confirm...

Ill double check but this is fkkn annoying I can't drive like this my knees are hititng my damn steering wheel lol

The driver's seat should definitely go far back. You must have change stuck in teh rail as mentioned or something physically jammed under the seat. If it's far enough forward, you should be able to stick your headinto the rear footwell and get a good look with a flashlight to see if there are any cables potentially getting stuck when it's pushed back or something just stuck under there. No one can really tell you what it is but there's something there causing it because we all know it goes further back.

On my passenger seat, it loos like a little piece is bolted down in the track to prevent it from going back more. I still swear it went further back. Weird.
