bringing my car next semester... change the tune?

so I'm bringing my car here next semester, and i'm running a 93 octane GIAC program. back in wisco, 93 is normal, but ive noticed out here that 91 is the highest octane rating.... will i have to get a 91 tune as well, or could i add octane booster every time i fill up? anynoe else done this?

definitely change the tuning, i am pretty sure they will probably cut you a deal if you already have the GIAC software and just want to swap files

and to get from 91 to 93 you would have to dump like 7 of those little bottles in your tank. on the back they say one bottle will give you 3 octane points... but that really means only 0.3 octane higher, not 3 octane

those boosters are pos... they just destroy your engine over time so don't use them

I got an email back from GIAC. They said that I didn't have to change the tune. if i run 91, the ecu wil compensate and pull timing. should still work well
