    Hey been doing some reading and seen that some people change their oil in the winter from 5w40 to 0w40 or 5w30 does this do anything for me or is it just preference btw i live in canada so it does get cold

    gets cold? since when?! im from MN and it never gets below 30 here

    I would recommend 0-40w Mobile 1 Syn. Top quality of readily available choices

    Yeah, I wish. BTW I use 0w40 Mobil-1 all year.

    You think its bad to put 10w30 in? I used it because my motor was kind of noisy and actually now it runs way more quiet with the different oil.

    In Texas it never gets cold. Haha well not 'really' cold. I used 0w40 Mobile all year long, Just moved to Royal Purple 0w40 and wow.

    It's fine for warm weather, I wouldn't use it in cold.

    I use 5w40 all year round, this weak I'll be putting in some 0w30 for the winter. I'd prefer 0w40 but I couldn't find any from the brand I buy.
