but, what has pissed me off so much is the fact that i just Kelly Blue Booked my car, and it told me the maximum i could sell my car for TODAY with all of its features, is $23,000... Mother Effing Bull...

resale does suck, so thats why i got mine used, its much worse in the higher class cars, like a6, a8, 7-series, s-class, etc.
almost every car depreciates from the day its driven off the dealership lot

You have no basis for complaint. You did your research and bought what you wanted. As soon as you buy a new car, when you sign on the dotted line, it is immediately worth ~20% less than what you just paid for it and cascades quickly south from there especially when a new model comes out afterward. A car is not an investment.

That's why I take a hard look at leasing. Find a good lease rate when Audi is doing their promos (like right now), negotiate a fair price, pay less down and lower monthly payments. You know what you can purchase the car for when the lease is over, then decide. Bye, bye negative equity.

Your car is not worth $23k...it's more like mid to high 20s. Cars are not an ivestment, they are an expense. Personally, no matter what I buy, I always buy used and let the original owner take the biggest hit.

Thats why you don't pay MSRP...especially if your going to buy brand new. I got my '08 brand new for 34k. MSRP was like $39,300. I would have bought used, but I couldn't find one that was exactly what I wanted.

Audi isn't exactly known for their reliability either, believe thats why the KBB value is so low. I have a 07 3.2 and the maximum I can get for it is $33000. Shelly BMW offered me $24000 when I purchased a new M3. I decided to keep it and try to sell it private party.

I think a route you may wanna take is sell it to another enthusiast. You probably will get 30k and up with all the mods.
