S6 LED wired to foglight

I just got my car back (actually it's my GF's) from body shop after the retrofit of S6 LED to the S-line bumper.
They did an awsome job on modifying the foglight housing to make it look flush!!
But I think they kind of messed up with the wiring cause it only turns on when foglight switch is pulled with the headlight on.
I wanted it to be on with parking light on as well.
Does anyone know why it doesn't work when I pull the foglight switch with parking light on?

because the fog lights don't turn on when you turn your parking lights on either, even if you pull for them.

Uhh..is it?
I thought it used to work with OEM foglights.
I know it's a different story but I get to turn them on with parking lights on my bimmer.

you can tell them to rewire the LEDs to the parking lights so when you turn the parking lights on and they will be on.

by parking lights you mean the turn signals? or the little city lights?There is a mod on here that shows you how to do it with the city lights. which are on with the turn signals but you can vag those off.

or you can just VAG it to Canada mode. and the will be on as daytime running lights and when you turn on your headlights they will cut off the you pull it to turn it back on.
BTW how did they wire them up because i want to do the same with my b6 and im trying to gather some info for a DIY.

I finally figured how to turn the fogs on with the parking lights on (thank you for providing the link above)

I have no idea about the wiring.

I love the s6 LEDs!!! I want to get a body shop to install some on mine as well. If you don't mind me asking what did the body shop charge you? I'm trying to get a figure in my head of how much I'll be spending.

personally i would set additional lights like that to another separate switch just so you can turn them off and on with your command regardless of what other lights are on. This pretty easy to do if you want to take it to an car r

mine act as DRL's (thats what they are on the S6) but they stay on even with the lo-beams, eventually i'm gonna wire them up to a switch that i can flip on/off

sorry to bring this thread back but i was wondering if they had to modify the bumper or just the fog light housings? interested in possibly doing this this summer

can you post a close up of where the outside of the LED's go into the bumper..i want to see how they made it fit.

you need to cut into the bumper..

With mine its wired through an auxillary fuse so it goes on with the key and you dont need to bother with using the light switch....so mine are on all the time like the real S6 lights
