Time For Tire, Time For Questions

Tires are in range of needing replacement.

    I have the 02 w/ Sport Pack 17's.

    Questions:

    1) What are the specs on the 17's? I searched, but no info found.
    2) What are the widest tires that I can put on them? What is a good size period? OEM is 235/45-17.
    3) What is a good gripping tire, with low road noise?

    Thanks in advance!

search button is really a good help, you just need to get creative with that. Or be like me, last time i was looking for tires, i wrote all the options down from different threads and picked the most popular.

Thank you for the reply. I searched but did not get all of my answers. So, instead of wasting more time, I posted my questions in hopes of someone answering them.

    Thanks again.

What kind of tire are you looking for? All season? I know that you live in GA maybe a summer tire? Price range? i personally like 225/35 better then stock size , its what they put on the 17's for s4's anything smaller would look odd IMO.

    A 235/45 is bigger than a 225/35.

go 225's...235 looks like truck status...

then again I am running 225/40s on a 9.5" wheel....

For my stock sports, I found used tires on ebay ...it was like $250 shipped for four toyos with 7/32 tread on em

Re: Time For Tire, Time For Questions

you can run 245/45/17, 245 is a good width that you can run and also give you a wider look to the car.

    Vredestein tires are good!

do this, go to Live.com. search for Vredestein tires and find the size you want. you can do the 25% cash back thing on Ebay. follow this, it works with tires as well. buy two tires a time so you get the maximum amount of cash back.
you don't have to get Vredestein tires, you can get anything you want!
