My baby is going into hybernation for most the winter.
Thanks to Randy (AZ member "Quattro") I now have a new right mirror and can see again!
Here is what she looks like before you'll see her again in spring, hopefully a lot cleaner and with some new goodies from the Vaterland.

Oh and smoked the tails last night, some people were wondering what i was gonna do about the bright red taillights...

She says bye bye, see you in spring!

    Post your winter Setups!

The reason being, Salt. They pour tons of that junk onto the streets here and I dont wanna risk it messing with my paint. It already damages clear coated cars enough as it is so i dont wanna see the results on a single stage paint.

It's just on plain ol' steelies at the moment actually. The white walls didn't play well with the modern tire side walls and the hubcaps wouldn't stay on correctly either. I've been looking for a ridiculous set of hubcaps to put on it for the winter (maybe a set of spinners or something LOL). I'll probably do the whitewall/mooneye thing with the Passat instead.

    SHAVED!

    Beautiful!

Guess I missed your other threads for this is the first time I've seen your car. I like the paint but am not liking the black tail lights and wheels. Guess 100% black is not that enticing to me but I REALLY like the flat black body.

I'll get you my winter 'setup' next week...

Satin Black just to correct you.

And hey, one destroyed car wont make much difference in a fleet of glossy cars

Such an incredible car, but I have to agree with Dougy on the black wheels. It almost makes it look like a mule car. Still, I love the paint and the shaved handles.

There are electric solenoids that actuate the latch and spring-loaded poppers that push the door out a couple inches so you can grab the door and open it.

Re: Bye bye for winter (winter setups)

    thanks for the props guys.
The wheels are a just for now setup. Im really short on money like most of us and cannot get the really big poke and stretchy wheels that i would like to get for 4-5k. The wheels looks TONS better in black in my opinion. They are only 17"...so black makes em appear bigger because the entire wheel as one big black thing looks bigger. Its all optical illusion stuff hehe.

Still loving the shaved look. Even the trim partway down the doors. My next car will be a B5 S4 and I want to find a black one to shave and paint satin.

Right now I hate your car, there is way to much blackness for my liking. BUT, hit it with some silver accents and I would love it. Such as Aluminum mirrors, silver center caps or line around your rims, silver trunk molding and maybe even silver Audi rings. It would be sick as hell .

Shaved handles are the sickness though. I like flat black... but on an ExigeS.
