Will I be ok with ...

Whats up guys ... i posted a few pics of my car a week or too ago and public opinion was to bring it down from space so i'm bumping up the suspension towards the top of the list for mods but i have a quesiton or two

Is all I need for the suspension is the H&R springs and Bilstein shocks and I will be ok or is there anything else i need to get to be good in the longer run ?

If I do need complimenting mods/accessories what are they ?

tools if you plan on installing it yourself! from what i've heard thats a great setup and it'll put you at a good height. probably what i'm going to go with eventually. pretty sure this is all you'll need though. if you're having it installed at a shop they'll have any necessary nuts & bolts for you.

how much are you paying for this setup?

sounds good thanx alot ... and idk yet i have been shopping around but i think i'm looking at around 1000 maybe ? Everything new off the websites or local dealers

please dont pay a grand for a spring shock combo, you can get coils new for that price. you can get a decent spring/shock combo for like 2 or 300 in the classifieds

well maybe i was looking at it wrong ... on the bilstein website do they sell it by pair or single shock. Cause if they sell it by the pair it would be alot less than what i had said originally

coilovers are all inclusive, its a coil over a shock. no need for anything else. and they can be had for between 600 and 1000 in the classifieds or around 1050-1100 new, koni, bilstein, vogland, etc. check the stickies

$600-650 brand new for that setup. with install will bring you to around $1000. the shocks compliment the springs therefore you need nothing else. i got my bilstien sports for $410 shipped brand new. ended up buying used H&Rs but new should be like $230-250ish.

this is for a shock/spring combo. not coilovers. coilovers are a bit pricier, but adjustable height and dampening depending on the brand and type. but for most drivers purposes, springs and shocks do just fine...

just wanted to clarify for the OP, as he seemed to be unsure about setups. i'm trying to decide on c/o or shock/springs myself. i'll prolly save up a couple extra bucks and go for some lightly used coils...
