Darn Colorado Weather

Out of all states ive lived in, Colorado has the most unpredictable weather I have seen, yesterday it was bright sunny, 70+ degrees, now its muggy, cloudy, freezing rain, 25- degrees out.... How do yall manage haha, well i guess its better than icy roads/blizzards right now. Good thing i own a Audi now, definitely a must have car out here, (and i guess subaru too, but too many people have those, especially STIs) Ive lived here for several years and still cant figure it out.

The weather here is the best part of living here. I do hate the weather from time to time, especially this time of the year. But then I just remember that when it's like this outside, that means snowboarding season is definitely here.

This is the same shit we experienced last year. Didn't start snowing until the first week of December. Farmers Almanac says it should start snowing the 2nd week of December this year.

It's mostly the Forest Service that dictates when they have to close. They do the same shit in certain snowmobile areas (not all). Other factors are that all the tourists are "over it" and the resorts are not making any money in those late spring months cause the only people riding are people with season passes. I got a ticket for $50 on May 31st this year for snowmobiling after May 15th in the Never Summer Mtns. Forest Service head guy was a cock sucker. There was many feet of snow left to boot.

Ya I know the NFS dictates that since most resorts fall in national forest land. I'd be cool with resorts changing their lease dates to stay open thru the end of April rather than trying to be the 1st to open in October.

First major snowstorm here a few days ago. And first time driving my audi on 3 inches of it on the road, didnt feel like i lost any traction or control of the vehicle of the 10 mile steretch of snow covered road.

Exactly. Those people who are afraid to drive in the snow should just stay the hell home. I don't need to fly down the highway or anything but people going 20mph in the HOV lanes into downtown piss me off.
