b6 giac chip and socket board, where to get pins soldererd?

I bought a used giac chip/sock board for my b6. Yes, it was done in 04 before they did re-flashing.

Where can i get the pins soldered on at? Any options other then sending it into giac?

if you didn't look into this further before purchasing it probably would have been a good idea. you may not be able to transfer ownership, most GIAC dealers aren't willing to deal with reprogramming your ECU because the specific immobilizer codes have to be taken from Audi itself and is a PITA. B5s are able to just swap software from car to car, but i haven't really even heard of more than a couple people on here successfully doing it in a B6.

call your local GIAC dealer, that's the best advice i can give you. good luck.

this has nothing to do with the immobilizer or getting anything reprogrammed. Just getting it soldered just like any b5 would have to get..
