    Outside Temperature Sensor

I'm sure this has been covered but my search came out zero as I kept getting explainations about the engine temperature.

Basically I'm wondering where the outside temperature sensor is located (the one located on the center display).

I think mine could be dirty/clogged or even out but I guess I will try and see if it needs a little cleaning as it's ocasionally off. (I know it's not 30 degree in California even at night time).

Thanks in advance for the responses.

It is clipped to the power steering cooler located at the bottom of the radiator towards the driver's side. It is about the size of a Chapstick.

Cost about $40 bucks.. don't get fooled by the cheap ones, it's for the B6 models and up. Price is all very close, I ended up ordering online for a few bucks cheaper, but if you need to change it right away just pay $10 more at the dealer.
