Well unfortunately I have bad news. After 7 months of waiting for custom door inserts to be made with one excuse after another I have still not received the parts. Even though I paid in full because Terry had fallen on bad times, I was asked to send shipping money, $40, so I could get my parts even though shipping was included because he was short on funds. Well after 3 more weeks I have not received my parts and I had to file a complaint with paypal for the return of the $40. The only reason I bring this up here is because I do not know if other people are waiting for parts or may be in the process of buying so I highly recommend that you do not deal with Terry as he has not returned any of my text messages or phone calls since I have paypal'd the money for the shipping.
I know Terry has health issues but 7+ months is inexcusable especially since I did express to Terry that I was in the process of trying to sell the car and needed the parts back so that the car could be shown. I even asked for him to return my parts if they were not completed so that I could put the interior back together as it has to go through a state inspection here because of the accident, and we could worry about the money later, and still no response.
I also bring this up because Terry is Winston's fabricator, so I suggest not ordering any parts from him either unless he has another person doing the work because you will not get your parts completed.
Please feel free to express your opinions on this subject as I feel I have been patient but this is effecting the potential sale of my car and getting it back on the road as well, as I do not want to go to a state inspection with no door panels and wires showing everywhere. As of now I am out the original cost of having the door inserts made which was paid back in March of 08 and an additional $40 for the shipping, plus I do not have the parts as well.
