    Leak~

So lately whenever it rains, the floor behind and under the drivers seat gets SOAKED with water and it doesnt seem to let up. I did some searchin and found out about the problematic sunroof drain plugs, and i found the DIY on audiworld of how to unclog them. The problem is this involves removing the rear bumper, and im not sure how they would be the problem if they drain behind the rear seats.

Anyone have any ideas as to what this water problem is being caused by? I did run power wire through my firewall where the hood latch cable comes through, and i will check it out tomorrow in daylight, but im thinkin maybe its the front drain plugs from the sunroof.

    Re: Leak~

From what I've read, it's a problem with the drains in the engine bay behind the fake firewall (where the battery is).

Edit: nevermind.. You said under and behind your seat.

    Re: Leak~

you dont have to take off the bumper. the hose that runs from the sunroof goes right behind where the cd changer would be if you have one equipped. its like a orange browinsh color. just pull it off the grommet and make sure its clear. sounds to me like it may be off the grommet and just draining into your car instead of outside

I had the sam issues I had run a line from where the hood latch cable runs in and the carpet was getting soaked in the rain. I used some sealant on the rubber around the hood cable and it stopped.

Take out the battery, there is a drain in there, clear that out.
