What do you guys think of the Stasis touring suspensions?

In the spirit of buy high / sell low, STaSIS is clearing out the stockroom and sending out a few smoking deals. For those in dire need of some suspension loving for their A4, we are happy to offer our Touring Suspension, normally $725 for $600!! [plus shipping and limited to stock on hand, said the fine print].

The Touring suspension includes a Koni damper, pre-adjusted by STaSIS and a set of shorter, stiffer springs [not height adjustable] for the optimum ride / performance relationship. I know what you’re thinking: “well I really wanted height adjustability..”. Oh yeah? Are you REALLY going to adjust the suspension? Are you REALLY going to corner balance the car [which has more rubber in its suspension pivots than the Trojan factory]? Why not let the leader in Audi suspension tuning do all of the math for you? STaSIS has done the development, tried and tested dozen's of spring rates, damper settings, etc. and arrived at something we are very happy with. As are our customers. The last set I sold this is what the customer had to say:

"Thank you thank you thank you. The suspension is incredible. I installed it about two weeks ago and I can not believe it. I drove a few blocks conservatively and was not sure there was any change. So compliant.....like stock if not slightly better. But dial up the speed and turn in is incredible, so neutral....hmmm, sometimes I swear the back end is coming around like a rear drive car. A lot less body roll inspires confidence and the car is so much better controlled over rises at speed. Rebound is way better......the car always feels planted. I can not wait to drive Lagune Seca in two weeks."

If you don't believe him, here's another guy's opinion:

The bottom line? This is about the best performance value you will find for an A4 suspension. Rides great, handles amazing and looks fantastic. Save the extra $ you were going to spend on cheap coilovers and spend it on track days.

What do you guys think of these? I was going to go get some coilovers (probably Stasis SS) but why not get these for the half the price? I figure I'm never going to adjust the ride height, just set it and forget it, and I wasn't planning on dropping my car very drastically, just enough to get a little more aggressive of a stance. I didn't want to go the spring/shock route because of the problems I've heard people have down the road.

So, I guess what I'm trying to ask is if there is a drastic difference between these and coilovers (besides adjustable ride height)? and if you think I'll have any reliability troubles with these?

    TIA

There is no more "kit", but the Eibach Pro springs and Koni FSD (non-adjustable) are an absolutely outstanding combination for 1.5" drop from stock, an increase in driving comfort and much better handling over even the Audi optional sport-suspension (which I think is worthless). You can get the Eibach+Koni FSD installed for under $1000.

It isn't nearly low enough for me but I think its a good deal if you want a lower than sport suspension drop without gettings coils
