Interesting Noises - what could this be?

Perhaps someone has had the same experience...

An electric switch type sound from somewhere behind the cluster, then immediately after a buzzing/vibrating sound closer down towards the pedals.

Was at shop today getting my winter tires put on and they thought it could have something to do with the HVAC system or my heated seats. So when I left, I turned both those systems off, but then it still continues?

    Open to your feedback!

I think I've heard the same thing. Does it kinda sound like a higher pitched hydrolic buzz for about 1 to 2 seconds? I was changing my TBB and the car had been off for a while and this sound came from down there somewhere.

Headlights seem to dim ever so slightly when this occurs...

I've only noticed it when my car is off and I have the hood up.

^^^ Don't think we are hearing the same thing. Mine doesn't make the noise when off.

you may be describing a failing relay? If it happens regularly enough, you could remove the lower dash panel and feel each relay to find the one. If thats what it is

Re: Interesting Noises - what could this be?

My car started doing that exact same thing a couple weeks ago...I only hear it on startup for about 10 seconds or so. So is it a relay or the HVAC system?
