    Road Noise when going left

Kind of hard to explain but when i veer to the left I hear a lot of road noise (best way i can describe it) but then if I pull to the right it doesnt make it and sounds like it should. Any idea what this is? Do I need an alignment?

April last year i had the tie rod ends replaced and the right and the right front upper control arms replaced, front and rear as well as the left front and rear.

Wheel bearings also make noise going straight which he didn't mention, this may not be a bearing.

Re: Road Noise when going left

yeah it does make the noise going straight just not when i pull to the right. So wheel bearing for sure? How much for part? Is it relatively easy to replace myself?

Also will i need a alignment after?

Edit: I just looked up the price on ecs, around $50 for kit and $30 for just the bearing. Do I need the kit or can I get away with just the bearing?

    Thanks for the help guys!

X2 it's the wheel bearing. They don't always make noise going straight.

Re: Road Noise when going left

wheel bearing. opposite side of the turn noise. turning left=right wheel bearing. especially if it is a vehicle speed dependent noise (^speed ^noise) another way to test is to lift the suspect wheel and rotate while listening and placing hand on spring. grinding noise will be heared as well as light vibrations felt through the spring. hope this helps. go ahead and get the kit imo. the spindle bolt is a stretch bolt and must be replaced, plus you will need to pack the bearing with grease.

I can hear it more in the rear. Is it a hard install/replacement?
