i'd hate to buy halo's, but i want a black housing, and these aren't as haggard as some of the other ones i've seen on ebay. suggestions are welcome. sorry if it's already been discussed.

They're the same as any Ebay lights.

Water got in mine, had to fabricate the connections, just a pain to have. Plus can't install HIDs. Light output isn't great. If you don't have a problem with yours, just keep them. Plus, take a look at a few pics with the black housed lights - don't even look that good.

i dont agree. i think the black housing with a black car is stealthy as hell. now the problems you had are a definite turn off. any suggestions for a quality headlight with a black housing?

One of the AZ suppliers sells high quality black headlights but I think they have the angels.

Painted stock headlights. Bought them for 100 bucks after an accident and ran them for a few months before replacing with stock S4 housings. The high beam reflectors were painted which rendered them useless but the lows and blinkers were fine. Would look good with everything black but the high reflector.

ha, indeed. Although I've seen some *sort of* ok looking applications on audis, i've always been of the belief that angel eyes should be left to the bimmers
