Lowest Springs??

I am wanting to get something that is a bit more show than go. I am looking into neuspeed springs because on paper they have the lowest drop. Is there anything that is lower. I heard h&r race springs are pretty low, but want to know which one is lower?

im looking to get H&R springs & bilsteins...ive heard thats a good combo. but ..obvioulsy..i want good handling & a good ride at the same time.

neuspeed definatelt is the lowest and best... i have h&r races with bilsteins and wish everyday i had neuspeeds...

I don't have pics but I had to raise my bilstein struts back up from the 2nd from the bottom setting because I high centered the car comming out of the Burger King parking lot with my neuspeed springs and bilstien struts. A coworker and I had to get out of the car and push it off the hangup.

If you are set on just getting springs, personally I'd recommend the H&R. Buddy of mine has an S4 lowered on the H&R's and Bilsteins, and it is sitting right over the tire -- his wheels are 18x8.5.

I am not sure, but I have never been a Neuspeed fan for any of their products, but that is just me.

I say go coilovers regardless, because how mad will you be if you buy either set of the springs and it isn't EXACTLY the height you wanted it? Don't settle, just save and do it right the first time.

I had coilovers on my Rx-7 and it was pretty ruff. I'm not sure I would like the feel on this car, the reason I sold my rx because it wasn't very streetable and I needed something more refined. So I rather not deal with coilovers, but then again I was running delrin bushings and a 4pt rollcage. Here a pic of the rebuild i did on "roxy" I miss her....

Grooved shocks. Changes the perch setting for a lower ride height. Or.. adjustable ride height.

I would love to go neuspeed race, but i dont know how it will be in the winter. Im thinking more along the lines of vogtland now... its right inbetween H@R sports and race

I have some Neuspeed Sport springs right now but would like to go lower, would it be worth it to go Neuspeed race springs? How much will it drop, what alternatives do you guys recommend?

Well the race version drops you 2" front and rear. (50mm) Not sure about what you have now. I heard Neuspeed Race springs were some of the lowest you could get.

Yeah so I hear, I think I will go with those... cuz right now I'm about 1.5 drop in the front and maybe 1 in the rear. It is much stiffer though I just wish I hadn't jumped on on the sport springs and not gotten the race. Oh well can't really afford it now unless someone has got a set and is willing to let them go

If it's Bilstein Sports you decided to go with (which is what a lot of folks in this thread are singing), let us know, as we shelf stock them for B5s and offer free lower 48 state ground shipping. I think ECS and AWE carry them (or at least they did a year ago when I was looking at them ).
