    New to the Forum Have a "Purchase question"

    I am looking at a 2000 A6 Avant 2.8L, 74k miles, loaded w/ winter package, Catus green...

    1st: what are somethings i should look at before purchasing?

    2nd: what is a fair price for this vehicle?

    How's the condition overall? If you want, you can take it to a shop and/or dealer and have them do an inspection. They charge, but it might be worth your piece of mind.

    As for price...what are they asking? I'd probably offer something like $8-10k. Depending on condition and how bad you want it...check KBB.

    Dont have any pictures but it is pretty bad ass...

    I Took it to an Audi Dealer and they said it would cost about $3,000.00 to make it legit...

    Um, tie rod ends. Check to see if the 75k mile service was completed. Rear diff seals...

    I'd say this car is worth 6-8k in good condition.
