i've ordered the stasis ohnlins sl susension for my s4 avant...before i go ahead with the install, i wanted to get some last minute feedback from anyone out there who may have this suspension on thir car.

my only concern is that i absolutely love the smoothness of my current stock setup however i am eager for some more stiffness and better overall handling/perfomance...

how much more 'bumpy' is the ohlins, does the car lose all of its smoothness or only some? any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks guys.

I've had the SL for about 1 year on a B6S4 sedan. The handling is vastly improved and the "float" is gone, but bumps/rough road stuff is REALLY transmitted through. I have 19's too, so some is due to that. The SL's come with very high rate springs (750/1100) compared to other kits out there. If I could do it again, I would have gone all out and got the Motor Sport kit with the less-punishing spring rate selection of "Normal Street" (600/1000). Also, the Motor Sports have damper adjustability. The SL kit is considered "Agressive Street". Other than the stiffness, the SL kit is high quality with absolutely no clunks or other sounds coming from itself. Be careful with this mod. I would try very hard to ride in a car that has this kit installed before you make the leap.
